Orphans, Assassins and the Existential Eggplant is a work of historical fiction that includes fictional and historic figures.

The book begins in 1211 and many of the events, such as the Children’s Crusade, Hassan i Sabbah’s Assassins, and the belief that Bahrain is the actual site of the Garden of Eden, are as true as any history.
